You can support the mission of the Hope Funds for Cancer Research directly by making a donation to the Annual Fund of any size. The Annual Fund pays for research grants and program activities of the Hope Funds. Donations may also take the form of named and endowed funds, naming opportunities, participation in special events, and bequests. Matching gifts from employers are a great way to enhance individual giving.
Annual Fund
The Hope Funds for Cancer Research receives Annual Fund contributions from a broad audience and in a range of gift sizes. These funds are used to support post doctoral fellows conducting cancer research at leading US research centers and for educational programming.
Named and Endowed Funds
The Hope Funds for Cancer Research combines Annual Fund contributions with Investment Income generated by the Hope Funds’ Named and Endowed Funds to provide several research fellowships each year. Named and Endowed Funds can greatly enhance the grant-making power of the organization in perpetuity.
Naming Opportunities
A naming opportunity is not just a vehicle to donate to the Hope Funds; it is an opportunity to encourage a highly-dedicated group of talented cancer researchers with your, or a loved-one’s, name in perpetuity. Current naming opportunities include fellowships and medals.
- $50,000 to name a Medal in a given year to be awarded to a distinguished honoree in the category of Basic Science, Clinical Development, Medicine, Advocacy or Philanthropy
- To permanently name a Medal to be awarded annually to a distinguished honoree in the category of Basic Science, Clinical Development, Medicine, Advocacy or Philanthropy, please contact the Hope Funds.
- $1.5 million to permanently name a post-doctoral fellowship
- $2.5 million to permanently name a young investigator fellowship
- $150,000 to name a post-doctoral fellowship for its 3-year term
Special Event
To meet our goal of providing fellowships to young cancer researchers, the Hope Funds for Cancer Research hosts one or more special events to raise Fellowships, as well as honor luminaries in the field of cancer research, treatment and philanthropy. To learn more, please go to the Events tab.
